Student Support

The participating universities in the program not only deliver courses to students, but also provide additional support in following areas:

Career Services

The IMSE degree is respected by companies and organizations worldwide, so our graduates have excellent career prospects. Students in the IMSE program can use the Career Services of each partner institution, thus opening up a wealth of opportunities inside and outside Europe.

Tilburg University, for instance, has a dedicated Career Services Portal, which offers a variety of courses and workshops that will give you a jumpstart once you join the workforce. The professional staff at the Career Services Portal will also be able to give you information about Working while Studying and the possibilities for finding employment in The Netherlands after graduation: Working after your studies.

Housing

At the University of Stuttgart, dormitory rooms can be provided for students of the IMSE programme (but not guaranteed).

At the University of Crete, accommodation can be rented on the private market. Sufficient furnished apartments are available and the International Office at the University of Crete will assist the IMSE students with finding suitable housing in anyway they can.

At Tilburg University, housing can be provided for all IMSE students (but not guaranteed). Most student residences are conveniently situated near the University or the city centre.

Insurance

Erasmus Mundus Insurance

The IMSE program has a comprehensive student insurance program in place. This insurance program, guarantees an extensive worldwide insurance coverage for incoming and outgoing students.

The policy is catered through the Insurance Passport for Student (IPS) of Lippmann; a well-respected company that provides insurance for a large number of international universities currently taking part in Erasmus Mundus programs. The IPS Primary Insurance is a comprehensive policy that complies with and even exceeds the minimum requirements as set down by the EACEA.

For Erasmus Mundus (EM) scholarship students, the associated premium is included within the scholarship. For these students, the IMSE consortium will take care of the insurance registration on behalf of the student. Non-scholarship students need to take care of their own insurance arrangements.
